A section of Photographs includes work by Felice Beato. One of the first European photographers in Japan, the two lots are split into a group of figure studies and a group of landscapes, both from 1864, each is expected to make £2000-3000. The drawings and watercolours cover a host of artists, subjects and dates. It ranges from the charming Printing Press by Russian impressionist artist N. Frolova estimated at £400-600 through to Patricia Davenport's Aphrodite estimated at £3000-4000.
