Day 2: AFRICAN & OCEANIC TRIBAL ARTS | MODERN & CONTEMPORARY ART | DESIGN | MODERN JEWELRY Featuring a grouping of African and Oceanic tribal art including over 100 lots deassessioned from the Newark Museum, as well as extroidnary works from four private collections assembled in the 1950s-1970s, with examples dating back to the 19th and early 20th c., some acquired from the top galleries in NYC and London; Modern and Contemporary Art and Design including artworks from the estate of Arthur & Anita Kahn, whose renown collection of sculptues by Alexander Calder and David Smith were consider the most significant in private hands.
