A special New Year?s auction featuring many unusual items including numerous vintage hand-colored prints and several original works of art. Of special note is the American Impressionist miniature by Alexander ?Sandor? Vago. Other original works of art include an original full-size cartoon in pencil attributed to notable New Yorker Magazine cartoonist Mort Gerberg, an original painting by famed Greenwich Village artist Clara Tice, and a dry point by Linda Lloyd. Even today, with all of the excellent methods of color reproduction available, the beauty of these vintage hand-colored lithographs is rarely surpassed. Chromolithography is a very complicated and artistic process that involves an artist re-drawing each color in an original painting onto a stone plate. It is his interpreta
