Stained Glass, Silver, and Antiquarian Books

Including the Donald M. Robinson Estate, Pittsburgh, PA, and glass and art from the Jane Oxford Collection, Centre, AL. Fine sterling includes a service for 12 by Lunt in the Modern Victorian (1941) pattern, 91 pieces of Kirk Stieff Rose pattern flatware, 14 sterling chargers, a sterling and ivory coffee pot and sterling pitcher by Tiffany & Co., a large English repousse decorated tea service, Gorham sterling candelabra and Revere bowls. Arts and Crafts highlights includes several pieces of quarter sawn oak furniture, a prairie style curved glass china cabinet, a Teco green pottery vase and a Heintz Art metal trophy shaped center bowl in bronze with sterling decoration. Art Deco highlights includes more items from Marilyn Sullivan Bonatti’s extensive Kensington Ware aluminum collection. Art glass includes a monumental cameo glass vase by Emile Galle, a Tiffany favrile vase and contemporary iridescent and paperweight vases. Other glass items include Baccarat stemware and plates and a Victorian cranberry glass hanging oil lamp. Several outstanding examples of stained glass from churches in Ohio include a large Munich School style window depicting the Three Wise Men, c. 1920 windows depicting St. Theresa of Lisieux, St. Anthony of Padua with the Christ Child, a Crucifixion scene, and a scene of Cherubim. Also included is a pair of Arts and Crafts beveled clear glass windows. Unusual furniture items include a massive Empire style sideboard, a Venetian style gilt mirror and an elaborate Victorian wicker rocker. The auction includes a wide cross section of Asian items including porcelain, jades, lacquer and metalwear.
