BIG SKY ART AUCTION

The fifth annual BIG SKY ART AUCTION,will feature an impressive collection of fine art, furniture, jewelry and selected items from local businesses and non-profit organizations from Big Sky, Montana. This year the 2020 Auction will be held on July 19 at the Wilson Hotel in Big Sky, Montana. Auction attendees will be entertained by the rapid–fire delivery of Troy Black, one of the premier art auctioneers in the West.Black has conducted many well-established auctions in the West, including the C.M. Russell Live Auction in Great Falls, Montana, the Jackson Hole Art Auction, The Buffalo Bill Art Show in Cody, Wyoming, and the Big Sky Arts Council’s annual Auction for the Arts. Featured this year is a diverse mix of artwork from artist who celebrate the American West through both traditional and more modern approaches. By Western Hands, an artist guild in Cody, will feature furniture and lifestyle pieces that aim to preserve western heritage and design through the celebration of past and present artisans. Their three-part mission to educate, perpetuate, and conserve the legacy of western design and traditional arts will be evident in all of the impressive pieces for bidding. Beautiful one of a kind jewelry from local and regional jewelry designers,Shelly Bermont Jill Garber, Ernie Marsh and Jackson Hole Jewelers will also be featured in this years auction.
