New Orleans Auction Galleries is pleased to present our September 26-27 Estates Auction featuring The Estate of The Honorable Lloyd and Beryl Ann "B.A." Bentsen. Lloyd Bentsen was a World War II bomber pilot, United States Congressman (1947-1955), United States Senator (1971-1993), Vice-Presidential nominee (1988) and Secretary of the Treasury (1993-1994). The sale will offer fine art, silver, antiques and a trove of political memorabilia and ephemera, including personal letters and photographs. The auction also features a selection of fine art with works by John William Godward, Jose Francisco Xavier de Salazar y Mendoza, Dorothy Hood, Raoul Dufy, Gustave Loiseau and others.
