All items are available for your examination prior to bidding. We encourage all prospective bidders to examine items prior to auction. Previews can be done in person at our Hampton, Virginia headquarters or can be done online via email request. Please contact Drummond's with any questions or requests for COA/Appraisal information at least 24 hours before bidding. By bidding, you have confirmed that you have inspected/previewed the item(s) and found them to be in acceptable condition, as stated per lot.
Gemstone disclosure notice: All gems, to include diamonds, auctioned by Drummond's are natural/genuine unless specifically stated to be lab created, created and/or synthetic. Gemstones other than diamonds may have been subject to standard industrial treatments such as heat treating and more. All treated diamonds (laser drilled, color treated, etc) WILL be disclosed by Drummond's. All carat weights and measurements are disclosed to within a reasonable difference with the exeption of items accompanied by COAs, appraisals and certifications, which are sold as stated with no variance. Provenance for estate/antique items is disclosed to the best of Drummond's ability.
Coin disclosure: Coins are sold as is, in current condition as stated per lot. Obvious cleaning, restorations or alterations are disclosed to the best of Drummond's knowledge. Drummond's assumes no responsibility for coins proven to have been cleaned or restored.
Drummond's reserves the right to accept and/or reject any bids at our discretion. Drummond's reserves the right to withdraw a lot for any reason to include lack of appropriate bids. Once declared sold, an item/lot may not be reopened for further bidding.
Payment must be made via Papal (confirmed address only), Visa, Mastercard, American Express, money order or check. Drummond's reserves the right to not issue a buyer's number or to withhold merchandise if appropriate credit has not been established. We require wire transfers, bank checks or credit cards for international buyers. We reserve the right to demand payments exceeding $3,500.00 USD be made via bank transfer or bank check. Payment for all purchases is expected to be rendered within three business days of auction.
Bidding increments are left solely to the auctioneer's discretion. $1 increments up to $25, $5 to $100, $10 increments $200 - $500, $50 increments $500 - $1000, $100 increments $1000 - $4000, $250 increments $4000 - $7500, $500 increments over $7500. Bidding increments are subject to change and are left to the auctioneer's discretion.
Bidders agree that shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all shipping fees. Drummond's charges a $6.00 minimum handling fee per shipment. Lots can be combined under one shipping fee, when possible. Purchases of under $999.00 USD will be shipped via USPS, when possible. All purchases exceeding $1,000.00 USD will be shipped via USPS Registered Mail with purchaser to pay actual shipping charges, plus said handling fee. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Drummond's will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
A buyer's premium of 16% will be applied to the purchase price of all items.
