WILLIAM DONALD (DON) AMOS COLLECTION OF OVER 1800 CIVIL WAR BOOKS DATING FROM THE 1800'S TO THE 1970'S TO BE SOLD INDIVIDUALLY AND IN GROUPS. DON AMOS WAS A NATIVE GEORGIAN WHO BECAME INTERESTED IN THE CIVIL WAR BY HIS 6TH GRADE HISTORY TEACHER. HE WAS HOOKED FROM THAT TIME ONWHICH LED TO A LIFETIME 30 YEAR COLLECTION OF OVER 1800 BOOKS DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE CIVIL WAR FACTUAL HISTORY. BEFORE DON TAUGHT CIVIL WAR HISTORY AT DAVIDSON COMMUNITY COLLEGE, HE WAS VALEDICTORIAN AT ATLANTA CHRISTION COLLEGE WHERE HE GRADUATED IN 1960 AND LATER BECAME PERSONNEL DIRECTOR FOR OWENS ILLINOIS GLASS IN WINSTON SALEM NORTH CAROLINA.
