SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2010 AT 1:00PM – An Almost No-Reserve, In-Person Only Sale of Fine Art, Photography and Prints by both Known and Unknown Artists. Other standouts include a never before offered ink and watercolor drawing by Raymond Pettibon from the early 90s, Robert Doisneau’s signed, Gelatin Silver print: The Kiss (Le Baiser de L’Hotel de Ville) from 1950 and selections from the MOCA Photography Portfolio from artists such as Shirin Neshat and Keith Boadwee, curated by Cindy Sherman in an edition of 250. Independently owned and operated for 26 years, SANTA MONICA AUCTIONS presents unique pieces by local Southern California artists and international art celebrities alike. A keen eye for resilient and relative artworks, live-internet bidding with www.liveauctioneers.com and an electronic catalogue solidify its reputation as a buyer’s sale.
