Cowan's Fall American History and the Civil War auction features a unique selection of fresh-to-the-market early photography, documents, manuscripts, and firearms from America's History dating from the Revolutionary War through the early twentieth century.

Highlights of the sale include Lincoln's first Vice President, Hannibal Hamlin's, U.S. Senate Chair; the last letter written to his mother by William van Wyck Reily, 7th Cavalry, four days before the Battle of the Little Big Horn; a whole plate ambrotype by Brady and a salt print by Root of Millard Fillmore; a wonderful copy of the "Tertiary History of the Grand Canon District" with the Holmes and Moran panoramas; plus Civil War photographs, letters, swords, and other equipment; autographs of Chief Joseph, Rain-in-the-Face, Geronimo, as well as Presidents, Generals, and Poets; and much more.
