Auction 2 : Ancient Art and Pre-Columbian Art

Dear Bidders, In this auction we offer 75 high quality and rare objects of ancient art from various Mediterranean cultures beside 20 objects from the precolumbian cultures and 5 lots of books and magazines on archeology. The ancient cultures represented are Egypt, Middle East, Phoenicia, Greece, Etruria, Italy, Rome, Celts and Bronze Age. And for the Pre-Columbian objects, the following cultures are represented: Chavin, Colima, Correra, Aztec, Nariño, Vera Cruz and Mixteque. Most of the objects once came from renowned Swiss private collections as well as from European private collections such as Saieva, W. Rosenbaum, Carlo Monzino, Herbert A. Cahn, Christoph Grand, A. Geissmann, Hans Dahn, Arno Jumperz, Max Hagemann, Richard + Molly Alexander, M. Tritten and the Bonsera family. Many of the objects were once acquired in world-renowned galleries, including Royal Athena, New York; Luz Garrido, Bogota; Galeria Metropolitana, Quito; Galeria Serodine, Ascona; Jean-David Cahn, Basel and Vitalis and Kazarossian, Athens. All dimensions given are for the object only and do not include the stand or bracket. All objects shown on a stand or bracket are supplied with that stand or bracket. There is no guarantee on the stands or brackets. All objects offered in this auction are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity with proof of provenance and come with an unlimited guarantee of authenticity.
