MAGIC COLLECTIONS - T. MULLICA & P. TAYLOR

Potter and Potter is pleased to offer at public auction the Prentice Taylor collection of magic apparatus, with wonderful examples manufactured by Thayer, Owen, Okito-Williams, Merv Taylor, early Abbotts, and others. The second part of our auction will feature Tom Mullica's personal magic life, as embodied through objects spanning his nearly 40 year career as one of the 20th century's greatest entertainers. His library, as well as his personal trove of personally used stage magic, effects, Tom Foolery memorabilia, as well as posters, photographs and other ephemera will be offered. All of this will be enhanced by objects from various consigners, including posters and vintage magician photographs. This auction will take place in the City of Chicago, at our gallery, the day following the Magic Collectors' Weekend, on Sunday, May 22, 2011.
