Please read these Terms and Conditions before bidding with Paige Auction, as anyone placing bids during an auction will be bound by them. Any announcements that are made on the day of sale will take precedence over any printed matter or posted notices relating to terms and conditions. These together form the contract of sale between the high bidder (purchaser), Paige Auction and the seller (consignor) of the lot. There is no charge for registration to bid. If you are new to Paige Auction, a major credit card or cash deposit may be required to register. When bidding on any lot offered by Paige Auction, bidders indicate they are accepting the following Terms of Sale: Condition of Items Sold: Paige Auction GUARANTEES ALL LOTS TO BE AUTHENTIC and makes every effort to accurately describe all items offered at our sales. However, all items for sale are ?as is,? and it is the bidder?s responsibility to determine the exact condition of each item. Since all sales are final, please verify our descriptions and carefully view the property at a preview before you bid. Paige Auction will not be held responsible for typographical errors. All items will be available for preview three (3) days prior to an auction. Opening Bids and Reserves: All items in the auction will have a minimum opening bid. Some items may also be subject to a ?moderate reserve? (a confidential minimum price below which the lot will not ordinarily be sold). Items with a reserve will be marked with an asterisk (*). Bidding increments: Bidding Level Bidding Increment $0 - $50: $5 $50 - $250: $10 $250 - $500: $25 $500 - $1,000: $50 $1,000 - $2,000: $100 $2,000 - $5,000: $250 Over $5,000: At the auctioneer?s discretion Payment: Cash, VISA, MasterCard and checks are accepted. Personal or company checks will only be accepted if the writer is known to us. All payments are due within 10 days after the auction. Bidders that have not paid by the 10th day following the auction will have their credit card on record charged for the full amount of their purchases. All purchases must be paid for in full before they can be removed from the premises. A buyer?s premium will be added to the bid prices and is payable by the buyer as part of the total purchase price. At the auction, the buyer's premium amounts are: For cash or check payments: 10% For credit card payments: 13% For Internet Buyers: For check or cash payments: 13% For credit card payments: 15% Rights & Responsibilities: The auctioneer will determine the highest bidder. The auctioneer alone has the right to reopen the bidding on an item if it is deemed necessary because of a dispute. If there is a tie bid between the floor and and an Internet or absentee bid, the floor takes bid precedence. Paige Auction and its representatives reserve the right to remove attendees who impede the previews or the auction. Title to all merchandise shall pass to the highest bidder at the fall of the auctioneer's hammer. The buyer will then assume all risk and full responsibility of the lot purchased once ownership has changed. No lot may be transferred to another buyer.
