DESCRIPTIONS Items are described to the best of our knowledge and ability. However, descriptions are not intended to be definitive and should be thought of as opinions on the genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, source, origin, or condition of the property. No statement made in item leads, descriptions, estimate or during the sale should be considered an assumption of liability or warranty. Lots of items that we deem to be questionable in nature will be described as ?unauthenticated?. Usage of this term does not imply anything other than our opinion. Artworks described as a work by a specific artist fall into our highest tier of authenticity, however, no qualified statement about the authorship is strictly implied. Artworks described as ?attributed to...? are most likely, in our opinion, a work by the artist but there is less certainty expressed than in the terminology described above. Artworks whose authorship are described as ?follower of...? an artist are thought to be in the artist?s style and contemporary or nearly contemporary to the artist. Artworks described to have been done ?in the manner of...? describes works done in the style of the artist but at a date that is not contemporary to the artist in question. Works described being ?after? a specific artist imply that the items are copies of known or unknown works by the artist in question. The term signed by and/or dated by the artist is believed to have been inscribed by the artist?s hand. The term bears signature implies that the signature may have been added by someone other than the artist. Gems and Coins are tested at the gallery for authenticity and are guaranteed to be authentic. Wine is not guaranteed to be drinkable and cannot be returned. Autographs and autographed items are believed to be authentic unless otherwise stated. Lots containing more than one item are intended as ?dealer?s lots? and are sold as is, where is, and the ultimate determination is the responsibility of the bidder. CONDITION, MEASUREMENTS, AND ESTIMATES Assessments of the condition, measurements and estimates are given as a courtesy to a client, and is only an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact. We assume no responsibility for any error or omission. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. Bidders are encouraged to view the item in person or request additional photos or measurements prior to bidding. All graded and/or measured and mounted gemstones are examined in mounts. Due to this, slight variations in the grading and weighing or sizing of the stones may occur due to mounted gemstone's limited examinability. We do not offer any type of warranty of any watch, clock, and/or timepiece. Working conditions given for such items are stated at the time of description. The estimated values are shown after each lot, are the auctioneer's estimate of what each lot is likely to realize. BIDDING Bidding advances shall be regulated by the auctioneer and shall be at his discretion. He or she has the right to refuse any bids. Some of the items offered at auction are subject to a reserve. A reserve is a minimum price agreed upon by the consignor of the property and the auction house. The auctioneer may bid on behalf of the consignor in order to reach the minimum sale amount. If the minimum amount is not reached, the auctioneer may pass the item. The auctioneer reserves the right to bid on behalf of clients and vendors, but shall not be liable for errors or omissions in executing instructions to bid. All bidders are required to complete the registration and obtain a bidder number. All registration cards contain the full name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. Absentee bids may be left via our website, or at our store location. Absentee bidders agree to all terms and conditions. In terms of a tie in bidding between an absentee bidder and the house, the house will win said item at their amount bid. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the case of a disputed bid, the auctioneer shall have sole discretion in determining the purchaser and may also, at his or her election, withdraw the lot or offer the lot for resale. The auctioneer shall have sole discretion to refuse any bid, or refuse to acknowledge any bidder. Buyers premium is applied to all items sold at auction. This amount varies according to the method of payment, bidding platform, or buyer?s location. Sales tax will be applied according to federal, state, and local regulations. Alcohol buyers must be able to prove that they are over the age of 21. PAYMENT All Florida residents are subject to a 7.5% sales tax. Payment for all auction items must be received within TWO WEEKS (14 days) from the date of auction ending. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE NATURE OF CERTAIN LOTS (INCLUDING JEWELRY, COINS, AND OTHER HIGH-TICKET ITEMS), AFFILIATED AUCTIONS & REALTY, LLC MAY, AT THEIR DISCRETION, SPECIFICALLY REQUIRE A WIRE TRANSFER FOR PAYMENT. If an invoice remains unpaid for longer than this time, the item(s) will be considered forfeited and ownership of property will revert back to Affiliated Auctions. When bidding through Proxibid.com, the stored payment method will be automatically processed at the end of the auction. Payment may be made by money order or check that is supported by a valid banker's card (up to card maximum). We also accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Paypal, and personal checks. We reserve the right to verify funds on all personal checks. A $30 fee will apply to all returned checks. The full purchase price on all lots sold to the same buyer must be paid before removal of any of the items. Buyer?s Premium of 17.5% card, 12.5% cash/check applies to bidders on the floor, phone, and absentee. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the bidder. In the event an item is shipped by Affiliated Auctions, the shipping carrier will vary depending on the items purchased. Either UPS or USPS will be used. If multiple items purchased require more than one box, packing and handling will be charged on a per box basis. If paying by check or money order, please contact the auction house for payment instructions on shipping. All shipping and packing arrangements for over-sized items are the responsibility of the buyer. All buyers are strongly encouraged to get quotes from shipping companies and make arrangements prior to bidding. If the item remains in the gallery after this period, the item will be considered abandoned and ownership will revert back to the auction house.
