This auction is the first session of a two-day auction that will be held on Saturday, October 12, and Sunday, October 13, 2024. This Saturday, October 12 session features rare railroad artifacts from consignors around the U.S.A. It contains items from both USA and Canadian railroads. Items include railroad lanterns, signs, milk cans, timetables, passes, posters, books, annual reports, calendars, maps, and more! Feature pieces include rare and restored lanterns from the Ray Canole estate, a super-rare Milwaukee Road Hiawatha logo, railroad paper dating back to the 1830s and 1940s, runs of complete or near complete employee and public timetables, horseblanket timetables, and some awesome station signs from the Pennsylvania and New York Central Railroads. Many other great pieces round out the Saturday session. The Sunday session features the estate of Dennis and Shari Lochmann, owners of Lochmann Trains in Wisconsin. Dennis recently passed away, and was well-known as one of the largest brass train dealers in the USA. This sale features over 250 lots of HO and N scale brass locomotives, plus freight and passenger cars. Additionally, there are many lots of plastic trains, and items in HO, N, O, and G scales. You will not want to miss both days of this sale!
