The Saturday sale opens with a very nice collection of bisque bird and animal figures by Dorothy Doughty and Doris Lindner for Royal Worcester, Boehm, Cybis, and Connoisseur for Malvern—40 lots. Followed by a beautifully carved marble sculpture by Petrelli; a host of sterling silver hollowware and flatware by Reed & Barton, Manchester, Kirk & Son, and Jenkins & Jenkins, as well as a Frederick Elkington coffee pot and a Cartier ice bucket. Additional lots of note, a George Ohr pottery coffee pot; early 19th century silhouettes and portrait miniatures; antique furnishings including a Georgian breakfront and a New England cherry secretary/bookcase. From a Bloomfield Hills estate, a French burl walnut credenza with inset porcelain plaques, marble sculptures, Royal Crown Derby and Wedgwood porcelain, sterling serving pieces, and Steuben glass ware. A variety of fine jewelry, including a Victorian yellow gold slide bracelet and pieces by Tiffany & Co., and a variety of oriental rugs from semi antique to modern.
