This highly anticipated sale also spotlights the prestigious personal collection of acclaimed designer George Doan, offering exceptional 18th and 19th century French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese furniture and antiques. Doan, a visionary in design, was celebrated for his work with celebrities, business magnates and political leaders worldwide. He transformed a historic Pennsylvania firehouse into an architectural gem and designed interiors for James Biddle, former president of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Fine art highlights include works signed or attributed to Louis Ritman, David Hockney, Alexander Calder, Charles (Chuck) Arnoldi, Billy Al Bengston, Pablo Picasso, Robert Motherwell, Sam Francis and Sigmund Joseph Menkes, and much more.
