Terms & Conditions
Winning bidders to pay thru Liveauctioneers Autopay System.
When you receive your invoice it is suggested in shipping options to choose buyer self arrange option if there is no fixed shipping for that item listed. This will make it easier and most likely less expensive as I live in a rural area vs using Liveauctioneers liveship eLabel option.
Please click on SHOW MORE TAB to see details about shipping etc. Please enlarge photos to view condition. I put up a lot of photos and most were taken outside in sunshine as I feel taking them outside w/ light raking across them is the best way to view condition. Summer Antiques encourages in-person inspection. Please email me with any questions and additional photos needed. Feel free to call me for an appointment to preview if needed. Sold as shown as is. Please check back before auction for any updates on photos, condition statements or descriptions.
All items are antique and statements of condition does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear, blemishes, imperfections or any damage. It is the bidders responsibility to review condition from the photos or in person preview.
Bidding
All bidding will take place through the Liveauctioneers platform although on some lots arrangements can be made to bid on your behalf as an absentee bidder or to execute phone bids(phone lines are limited so please get approved early). Bidders are encouraged to put bids in early to insure successful bids as internet connections can vary. Liveauctioneers DOES NOT allow me to see bidders high absentee left bids so your high bid remains confidential.
Shipping and Local Pickup
The good news for local pick up of items is that since the auction is in a rural area I will offer free storage for up to a year with payment. As stated in item description I will offer some fixed in house shipping through USPS(International shipping will be adjusted). If no fixed shipping is stated in item description then items can be either picked up or will be shipped through UPS Store in Lake Placid, NY at buyers responsibility and cost. There will be no pick up fee from this UPS Store as I can drop off items for free. I have done business with this UPS Store for over 20 years and they will offer a 10 percent discount off their standard shipping costs. Please feel free to call Sara at 518 523-1865 for any quotes or additional information.
If I have fixed shipping costs listed on an item and it costs way less for me to ship I will rebate some back.
I will also help with finding freight or local deliver if needed.
Autopay
If you have not contacted Summer Antiques to arrange payment within 3 days of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.
Sales Tax
Online purchases from Summer Antiques may be subject to sales tax. Please see the following for more details. If you are tax-exempt, you can submit your tax-exempt certificate to prevent the collection of tax. Learn more about tax-exemption.
