TERMS OF THIS AUCTION By registering for this auction, you indicate that you have read and agree to the full terms and conditions set forth below. The purchase price shall be the final hammer price plus a buyer's premium of (18% in person, absentee, and phone; 19% online via meanderauctions.com; 20% via HiBid, 23% via Live Auctioneers). Bids are considered binding contracts to purchase. We strive to provide accurate descriptions and condition reports, but please read the descriptions and examine the photos. We are happy to answer your questions and provide additional and higher-resolution photographs. Please ask! We will answer questions in the order in which they are received. By bidding on any lot, you acknowledge that you are satisfied with the item(s) as is and are prepared to pick up or have shipped every item in all lots purchased. You may bid in our auction in three ways: 1. Bid in-person at the site of the auction, which is 195 Fifth Street, Zoar, Ohio. 2. Place an absentee or phone bid directly with us. We will execute your bid competitively and honestly. Absentee bids left directly with us are subject to a buyer's premium of 18%. To bid via absentee or phone, please call, email, or submit the form available on our website. 3. Bid online via meanerauctions.com, HiBid, or Live Auctioneers. Bids may be left in advance of the auction, or you may bid live during the auction. The execution of online bids will be handled by the bidding platforms. Meander Auctions will not be held liable for any missed bids due to technical issues or loss of internet connectivity. Bids executed through live auction platforms are subject to a higher buyer's premium than our 18% in-house premium. The auctioneer will have sole discretion to settle any and all bidding disputes. AFTER THE AUCTION Shortly after the auction, we will send out invoices to successful bidders and we will send out an email that allows you to let us know if you need shipping or if you or your agent will be picking up your purchase(s). PLEASE NOTE: the auctioneer maintains the official record of the auction, including who are the successful buyers. Occasionally, due to a technical glitch beyond our control, one of the bidding platforms may indicate that you are the buyer but, in fact, you are not. All official buyers will receive an invoice, so if you don't receive an invoice, your bid was not successful. We apologize for any confusion this may cause. PAYMENT Invoices will be sent out after the auction. Payment is due upon receipt of that invoice. We accept most major credits, as well as cash (if you are picking up), wire transfer, and bidders known to us may pay via check. We may require wire transfers for invoices in excess of $5,000. A small processing fee will be added for all credit card payments and wire transfers. Payment may be made online, by phone, or at the time of pickup. For buyers needing their purchase(s) shipped, we will determine the shipping cost and send a follow-up invoice. No lots will be released without full payment. PICKUP AND SHIPPING All items from this auction are available for pickup at the auction site on Sunday, June 29, from 10am until 2pm. PLEASE NOTE: items from this auction are eligible for pick up at our gallery (6825 State Route 821, Whipple, Ohio) and many are eligible for in-house shipping. To offset our costs to transport items to our gallery for shipping or pickup, we will charge a per-lot feet as follows: Small items: $10 per lot Furniture: $20 per lot If you wish to pick up at our gallery, please allow call at least 24 hours ahead to ensure we can assist you. For our in-house shipping, we charge for the cost of shipping, insurance, materials, and time. After the auction, you will receive a text and email asking if you will be picking up or require shipping. If you select shipping, once your invoice is paid, and if your purchase(s) is/are eligible for in-house shipping, we will determine the shipping cost and send a second invoice. PLEASE NOTE: Live Auctioneers now requires all sellers to offer their Live Shipping as an option to all Live Auctioneers buyers. You are welcome to use this service. If you wish utilize our in-house shipping, please select ?Buyer Make Own Arrangements? when you pay. We are committed to affordable in-house shipping, and we ask your patience as our team carefully packs and ships your eligible purchases. It may take 2-3 weeks from the point of payment until your package goes out our door. We will provide you with tracking information when it is available. Any item left longer than 30 days may be subject to a storage fee of $5 per day per lot. Any item left longer than 60 days may be sold at our discretion and the proceeds retained to recoup storage fees. AUTOPAY If you have not contacted Meander Auctions to arrange payment within 3 days of the time that invoice is sent, we may charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice. SALES TAX Purchases from Meander Auctions may be subject to sales tax. If you are tax-exempt, you must submit a copy of a completed tax exemption form. If you are tax exempt and bidding via Live Auctioneers, you must register your status directly with them. We cannot remove sales tax from a Live Auctioneers invoice. Andrew Richmond (and Meander Auctions are licensed in the State of Ohio (lic. nos. 2008000139 and 2023000182) and are bonded in favor of the State of Ohio.
