Stout Auctions is proud to offer an fantastic auction of O and Standard gauge trains primarily from the collection of Cole Gibbs TCA 77-9384 plus additions from several other estate collections. Cole had a love of hunting down the rare and unusual. Trains few other collectors have in their collections! This focus is highlighted by one of only 4 known cream stripe 400E Blue Comet engines. Cole's extraordinary collection included Macy's sets galore! Brown State Set with an extra chocolate brown roof 408E, orange 9U set, 10E peacock with orange stripe, 8E pea green set, red 10 set, state brown 10E set, state green 408E and a number of 400E's. The collection also includes tough variation 200, 500, 800 and 2800 series cars such as RS 813, orange 2814, white RS 814R and 2814R, white/nickel 514R, light red/brass trim 217 and nickel trim 216 hopper. Highlights of the Ives transition trains include 418/419/490 pea green cars, 199 crane, 195 caboose, 190 tank, 20-193 stock, 20-192 box, 191 flat, and 20-195 caboose. Unique factory errors by Lionel. A Dorfan dealer display layout. 4U Bild a Loco sets in both gray and orange. 763E, 225E and 224E with gray coal tenders. Two different Ives 1134 steamers.
