The auction is governed by the following terms and conditions and is subject to applicable state laws. Any announcements or corrections made from the podium or via online platforms supersede those listed in the catalog. By registering or participating in the auction, all bidders agree to these Terms & Conditions. All participants must meet the auctioneer's qualification criteria to be eligible to bid. The auctioneer reserves the right to disqualify any bidder not in good standing and withhold awarded lots at their discretion. Bidders without established and validated credit must provide satisfactory identification (e.g., a matching credit card and government-issued photo ID) before placing a bid. Some lots may be subject to a reserve price--a minimum amount agreed upon between the consignor and the auction house. The auctioneer reserves the right to bid on behalf of the consignor to meet the reserve. Should the reserve not be met, the lot may be passed. The auctioneer may also bid on behalf of clients or vendors and shall not be held liable for any errors or omissions in executing bids. All registration forms must include the bidder's full name, address, phone number, and email. Absentee bids may be submitted via our website or in person at our gallery. In the event of a tie between an absentee bid and an in-house bid, the in-house bid shall prevail. The auctioneer has sole discretion to determine the winning bidder and may, in the event of a dispute, withdraw or re-offer the lot. The auctioneer also reserves the right to reject any bid or bidder, and cancel invoices, at their discretion. *** DESCRIPTIONS, CONDITION, MEASUREMENTS, & ESTIMATES All item descriptions are made to the best of our knowledge and are considered opinions. These descriptions may include commentary on authenticity, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, origin, or condition, but should not be considered definitive or legally binding. Condition reports, measurements, and value estimates are offered as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. Bidders are encouraged to examine items in person or request additional photographs or measurements. The absence of a condition report does not imply the item is free from defects, damage, or age-related wear. No statement in the catalog, online listing, or made at auction should be interpreted as a warranty or assumption of liability. Items deemed questionable may be labeled "unauthenticated," which represents only our opinion. *** JEWELRY, GEMS & WATCHES All gemstones are evaluated while mounted, and slight discrepancies in size or grade may occur. PAYMENT TERMS Payment is due within 14 days of auction close. Unpaid invoices after this period may result in forfeiture of the item(s), which will revert to Affiliated Auctions. Items will be shipped or scheduled with a third party carrier within 10 business days after payment. 2. Shipping costs, including insurance (for items over $500), are the buyer's responsibility. 3. In-house shipping is not guaranteed; buyers may arrange for local pickup or third-party shipping. Oversized item shipping must be arranged by the buyer. 4. Firearms requiring FFL or C&R licenses will only be shipped to valid license holders. 7. Ivory items will only be shipped within the U.S., excluding certain states.
