Our May 14th auction offers a lovely selection of English Estate jewellery including 14K gold rings with various stones such as topaz, opals, amethysts, emeralds and diamonds, a beautiful Victorian Nouveau style pendant and necklace plus much more to be listed shortly. For those of you with an eye for art, we have many pieces on offer this month by Canadian, American, European and Asian artists: still to be tagged and listed We are pleased to present you, from the estate of a Montreal collector, a fabulous collection of mid 18th to mid 19th century Chinese export items and Japanese pieces of a similar era. You will find a number of porcelain and stone vases, Nanking and Canton porcelain dishes, bowls, platters, chargers, mandarin pattern fishbowl, early 20th century blue foo dogs, a lovely ginger jar, Japanese moriage teapots, Imari chargers, small and extra large Kutani vases, and other interesting items. We have a selection of Sterling Silver; including Birks ring boxes and some lovely continental Silver cutlery pieces. In addition you will find a number of Waterford crystal items, including a pair of Crystal electric lamps in the oil lamp style and a large crystal chalice plus a beautiful round crystal vase, a number of Kosta Boda items, vases by Dalton Lambeth, Meissen and other German and Austrian makers, an Edme Samson of France ladies dresser box from 1900, Wedgwood pieces including a Basalt tea set and a gorgeous Imari vase, figurines by Minton and Royal Doulton, a Rorstrand jug, old German beer steins, a 19th c. spill-vase by Jacob Petit Fontainebleau, France, an English claret jug dated 1862, a beautiful Limoges platter from the late 19th century, a brass samovar with Imperial touch marks and a selection of animals from the Royal Crown Derby paperweights collection. There are a multitude of pieces not mentioned here that are from the late 18th to the late 19th century as well.
