Terms of Sale
By registering to bid on this auction you agree to the following terms and conditions:
To get approved to buy as a new client you need to pay a $500 deposit. The deposit will be returned after sale or deducted from the hammer price if purchase is made.
Buyer´s premium/Commission is 22% of the hammer price and a hammer fee of $5.
Payment has to be made upon receipt of invoice. Absentee bidders will be notified within two days of the sale. We accept payment by credit card, wire transfer and check. Purchases made by credit card will result in a 3% service fee. We will not accept credit cards on purchases over $5000. Won absentee bids must be paid within 5 business days. When you bid on an item you automatically accept the terms of sale. A signed bidform allows Björkmans Auktioner to charge successful bids to credit cards if payment is not received within five days. In the event the buyer does not pay in full within seven days of the sale, the buyer is in default, therefore title has not exchanged. In the event of a buyer default, the buyer agrees to pay Björkmans Auktioner a 23% default fee and releases title of that said item.
Any payment not made within seven days of the purchase will result in a 20% penalty fee and ban from future auctions.
Purchased items will be stored for ten days, then a storage fee of $25 per day will be charged.
Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at their own risk an that all fees such as packing, expenses, material, insurance etc is to be paid in advance. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. Björkmans Auktioner. will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
There are no guaranties or recourse on sold lots. Decisions are final and information are approximate. Lots are sold ?as is? and all sales are final. Neither we, nor the consignor are responsible for the correctness of any statement of any kind concerning any lot, whether written or oral, nor for any other errors or omissions in description or for any faults or defects in any lot.
The auctioneer has the sole right to settle disputed bids and decide whether or not to re-offer the lot.
