By submitting your bid, you agree that:

You agree to pay a buyer's premium of up to 18% and any applicable taxes and shipping.
PAYMENT: Burns Auction & Appraisal LLC requires that purchased items are paid for within 10 days of the auction. Purchases not paid for within 10 days will be cancelled and those items will be resold in a future auction. We accept Cash in person, checks and all major credit cards. We do not accept paypal.
Invoices will be emailed to the successful bidder within one day of the auction. Payment is expected upon receipt of the invoice. Items will not leave ship or leave our premises until payment is made and checks have cleared. A fee of $25 will be assessed on all returned checks.
CONDITION: All items sold "as-is, where is." All sales are final, and no returns are accepted. Assessing condition is the buyer's responsibility, and buyers are encouraged to call with questions or to preview items in person on auction day. Burns Auction & Appraisal LLC makes its best effort to describe items accurately, but is not responsible for unintended errors or omissions in item descriptions. There is no warranty, express or implied. All mechanical items described as working or functioning are functioning when inspected but are not guaranteed to be functioning once shipped and subsequently received by a buyer.
ONLINE BIDS: In-house bids will be given priority over online bids. In-house bids that are between preset online bid increments may be entered online at the next higher increment, thus pushing out an Internet bid.
WITHDRAWN LOTS: Burns Auction & Appraisal LLC reserves the right to withdraw any property before the auction and shall have no liability whatsoever for withdrawal of the property.
SUCCESSFUL BIDDERS: The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer is the buyer. The auctioneer is the sole determinant as to who is the successful bidder. Once the auctioneer's gavel falls, the successful bidder immediately assumes full risk and responsibility for the purchased lot. If there is a tie bid between auction house floor and internet bidder, the floor wins.
STORAGE: Items to be picked up by purchasers must leave our premises within 5 days of the auction. If items are not picked up within 5 days, we will store them for $10 a day for 5 more days. Paid items not picked up after 10 days will be resold by Burns Auction and the proceeds will be sent to the buyer, minus Burns Auction's commission fees and any storage fees.
15 percent on winning bids. We will also charge a 3 percent fee for purchases paid for via credit card. This 3 percent fee is charged on the final invoice amount, which may include shipping. AuctionZip charges a 3 percent transaction fee.
We will ship most items. Shipping costs are detailed in each item's description. We pack well, and our shipments generally arrive safely. We ship with Stamps.com, which also provides our package insurance. If you require insurance on your package, it is your responsibility to request insurance by contacting Burns Auction immediately following the auction. Insurance is your protection against loss or damage We do not provide refunds related to shipping issues, or any other issues for that matter.
Buyers may also pick up items at our gallery within 5 days of our auction.
If buyer purchases an item that we will not ship, it is buyer's responsibility to pay an outside party for shipping. If an outside party is not paid for shipping within 10 days, item ownership will revert to Burns Auction & Appraisal LLC.
COMBINED SHIPPING: We combine shipping using the following equation: add all item shipping quotes not including the quote for the item with the highest shipping. Multiply that total by .60, and add to the quote for the item with the highest shipping. So for items with shipping costs of $10, $5, $15 and $20, we would add $10, $5 and $15 to get $30. We multiply $30 by .55 to get $16.50. We add $16.50 to the highest quote of $20 to get a shipping total of $36.50, compared to the $50 one would get from simply adding each shipping quote.
TAXES: We will charge a 6.5 percent sales tax for all purchases made by Ohio buyers unless we are provided with valid tax exempt information.
PICKUP: Buyers are welcomed to pick up their purchases at our gallery at 1302 Collins Rd. NW, Lancaster, Ohio 43130. Pickup can be arranged on the MONDAY following the auction from 2 pm until 6 pm.
Shipping: We ship most items for the price quoted in the item description. We combine when possible Some larger items must be shipped via the UPS store, which can come pick up from our gallery for you. We combine shipping for purchases of three more more lots by adding the shipping amount for each item purchased, and then reducing the shipping total by 25 percent.
