McCarter On Premises Estate Auction

Mr. & Mrs. McCarter began collecting in Eastern Tennessee in the mid 1960s to furnish their dream home, a mansion that they were building in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. As with most collectors, the collections took over and there was no room, so they opened an antique shop in the early 1970s, operating it for 5 years, finally retiring, building a lot cabin and moving to Knoxville, Tennessee. They bought both primitive from the Smokey Mountains of Sevier County, Tennessee as well as really good unusual Victorian furniture and accessories. If you like primitive, early things, clocks, baskets, crocks, watches, linens, you are going to be more than happy with this auction. You will want to attend either in person or via the internet. Please feel free to call or email with any questions you may have.
