With over 100 items from the four corners of the globe, the auction promises to be an exciting event. Rarities from East, West, Central and Southern Africa, Polynesia, Melanesia and North America are all featured in this thrilling sale. From a Swiss collection comes an extremely rare Easter Island tablet with an academic study by Dr. Irina Fedorova from the Hermitage Museum in St Petersbourg. Among the many outstanding highlights is a New Ireland Uli figure from Melanesia, as well as a female Dogon Bombou Toro figure from the 17th/18th century. Further highlights of this auction include a female Tiv figure from Nigeria dated to the early 20th century and a very fine 19th century Cameroon Bamileke buffalo mask of the Van Alom collection in Antwerp.
