Hudson Valley Auctioneers' spring sale will conduct a two session multi estate auction of fresh to the market estate and consigned lots Monday April 25th in our 432 Main Street Beacon, New York gallery. The sale includes several partial contents from Dutchess and Westchester Counties, NYC and environs as well as items from a large Livingston NJ estate. Session 1 begins at 5:00 PM in house and is also Liveauctioneer.com enabled. Starting with a collection of Asian items including porcelains, artworks and other artifacts followed by a group of art featuring works by F Aerni, J.W. Snow, Romeo Tabyena, Joseph Lacasse, Ernst Leyden, Joseph Binder, J. Califano and many others.The sale features a large offering of 18th and 19th century furniture in excellent condition as well as appropriate accessories and decorative pieces installed in the Livingston estate by Greenbaum interiors. Standouts include several period gilt mirrors including an exceptional girandole mirror with Irish crystal candleholders and a parcel gilt marble columned pier table. A few good garden items are led by an early Victorian cast iron lawn deer and include a pair of Salterini consoles, iron benches, and more. A large classical figure spelter light standard, a pierced carved Belter chair, a Stickley triple door bookcase in attic condition, a fine inlaid Victorian center table , a griffin carved oak library desk, several excellent chandeliers and a great pair of Thayer Coggin chairs are other items of interest in the 200 lots of the first session. Session 2 will begin around 7:00 pm and will offer in house, absentee and phone bids only for the 350 lots. Among the offerings will be more from the Livingston estate, artworks from several estates, oriental carpets, architectural pieces, lots more garden, silverware and hollowware.
