From Art Nouveau until Modernism

The auction focuses on important stations of European design from the time of Art Nouveau and Art Deco, ´with pieces from Germany, Italy, France and the United Kingdom. Emphasis is placed on an English Art Nouveau fountain in color-intense geometric and floral ornamentation. The auction highlight is a leaded glass window with inscription referring to the ?Abendlied? by Gottfried Keller, created by the German glass painter Otto Linnemann in 1925. The most distinguisehed porelain item comes from the creativity of Heinz Werner, demonstrated in the rare ?Kollektivservice? with a peacock-like bird of paradise décor for Meissen. We are also proud to offer an incredibly rare and fine collection of writing instruments from Kaweco.
