The majority of the posters in this auction are propaganda posters issued in the Soviet Union, some under Joseph Stalin. There are several examples of rare WWI bond posters as well as rare WWII posters. Artists include V. Deni, V. Koretsky, D. Moor, Apsit and others. Advertising is represented by Constructivist designs from the NEP (New Economic Policy) era as well as 1950s advertising posters.
