Decorative Arts and Design: Modern Living

This collection is dedicated to modern living, to furniture and design elements which embody modern life. They bring contemporary flair to any home. Highlights of the show include a lacquered wood altar table, designed by Robert Kuo and manufactured in San Francisco in 2015; an ?Elephant Chair?, a black fiberglass seat in the form of a stylized elephant on an iron frame, designed by the French sculptor and painter Bernad Rancillac in 1966; and a Split Rocker vase from the artist Jeff Koons, a small variant of the monumental Split Rocker flower sculpture that was installed in the garden of the Fondation Beyeler in 2012.
