Art & Editions

This auction offers a wide range of unique and multiple works of art that show the fascinating diversity of artistic positions of the 20th and 21st century. Artists of the Berlin Secession and the Free Secession, among others César Klein, Ludwig von Hofmann, Wolf Reed, Willy Jaeckel, Leo von König, Paul Kuhfuss, Kurt Haase-Jastrow and Bruno Krauskopf are represented with several floral still lifes, landscapes and mythological paintings. Three serigraphs by the internationally renowned artist Tacita Dean visualize her typical motifs of time and transience. To point out is the lithograph of a female nude by the important representative of the American pop art, Tom Wesselmann. Günther Uecker's embossing ?Feld?, Jörg Immendorff's two-part bronze sculpture depicting his ?alter ego?, a monkey, as well as the collection of 8 drawings by the German artist Kinki Texas from 2005 are also worth special attention. Very impressive is the space-consuming bronze by Salvador Dalí, which represents a surrealistic interpretation of the famous ?Venus of Milo?.
