I bought four items from Arnaud's and am very happy with them. They are a terrific auction house and their in house shipping was superlative. They also always got back to me quickly either by phone or email. The only downside was after I won an got my invoice it took a few weeks to get a link or instructions on how to pay. Same thing with when I got the invoice for shipping. It was mid-summer and they were all very busy but it did get frustrating for awhile. But except for that minor inconvenience, an outstanding place to buy from.

I'm pleased to safely receive my lots. Accurate description, reasonable and fair price, fast shipping, and well packaged delivery. Very responsive to my questions regarding lots and shipping.

A nice local auction house that I can walk in at any time of the day and ask the staff to bring out items for me to inspect. It's simply a pleasure to see the items in person when you have a local auction house like this with a friendly staff serving you right. The experience is part of the premium that I pay, isn’t it? I once bumped into the owner as well, a professional business person also a well learnt antique enthusiast willing to share all his knowledge, and we talked for hours over that Yongzheng piece of silver dish. Unfortunately, I lost it to a ground buyer at $42, 000 eventually. The community is lucky to have such a nice auction house serving the locals.

I purchase from a lot of auction houses, so when a transaction goes through with no hitches, it is very much appreciated. Invoicing came quickly, accurately, payment was straight forward. Pick up simple. It is not a large auction house as far as staffing is concerned, so best to check the pick-up schedule or call in advance to ensure they are not at lunch, etc. Highly recommended.
