John M. Hess Auction Service, Inc. found it’s beginnings in the early 90’s in several small leased facilities as the epitome of a small family run business. In its beginning John was not only the lead auctioneer, he was the only auctioneer. John’s wife, Jacy, and sister, Elizabeth, clerked and cashiered every sale. Slowly, over the course of time, the small business gained momentum with the construction of their Manheim facility and the completion of an extremely successful year of marketing real estate at auction in 2003. Hess Auction Service began to resemble the company that it is widely recognized as today. To date, Hess Auction Service employs 3 full time auctioneers and a wide range of support staff that enables the company to be able to function efficiently marketing a wide variety of real estate and commercial and personal property. In 2007 John M. Hess Auction Service Inc. conducted well over 100 individual auctions and is looking forward to serving you in 2008.
