Description
MARX "NUTTY MADS CAR" BOXED BATTERY-OPERATED TOY.

Cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 9" long tin litho car. Driver has vinyl head. Marx, 1960s. Box has some edge/corner tip wear to lid, w/some creases at corners. Fine overall. Toy is wonderfully lithographed, w/images of Marx's popular 1960s Nutty Mad characters and also includes strange designs including rubber bulb horn w/tongue, lanterns w/eyes, images on hubcaps, etc. Toy works, making motor noise, headlights move up/down (by gravity), traveling back and forth over short distance before rearing up and changing direction. Scattered tiny paint nicks/scratches, but still bright, glossy and VF/Exc. overall.
