Description
WWII, Third Reich, stonewear beer stein. Oak leaf in back of a Iron Cross, splitting the date "1940" in half. Above this Iron Cross is "Kriegsweihnachten" (translating to "War Christmas") and below, "1.San. Komp.179". To the left of the handle are the initials "G.G.". The pewter top has a picture of a helmet. Imprinted on the side is "0.5L" underlined. Stamped underneath stein looks to be the number "2023". Overall, very good condition.
