Description
Ca. 1400 AD. Substantial Medieval silver ring; oval hoop forming elliptical-shaped bezel; with Fleur de Lis symbol. The ring has Holy land origin but is of European (French) creation. Possibly it was worn by a French Knight who participated in some of the Crusades. Substantial ring in good, wearable condition. D:21mm/L:23mm; ; 6g; Provenance: Private London collection, formed in the 1970s on the UK and European art market.
