Establishing itself as on the of the nation’s first & largest group antique shops through the 1970’s, 1980’s & 1990’s & re-establishing itself as one of the area’s largest & most active auction galleries in Southwestern NH, servicing not only New England, but the nation & beyond.
Knotty Pine prides itself on estate fresh & collection fresh auctions boasting 2 galleries located in its 22,000 square foot facility for all your auction needs. The gallery is located 4 miles south of Keene NH & only 3 hours from NYC & 1 ½ hours from both Boston MA & Hartford CT, making it convenient from anywhere in the Northeast. Knotty Pine offers general antique estate & specialty auctions nearly every Thursday, February through December in its 3,000 square foot Annex Gallery & specialty & on-line auctions once a month in its 6,000 square foot Main Gallery. It has been a family run business, spanning 3 generations for over 50 years. Its appraisers, staff & knowledge will assist & simplify the efforts, headaches & expenses of the auction process (that are usually experiences with larger auction houses) all without compromising their auction sales results. Our appraisal staff has over 200 years of combined experience offers a wide range of appraisals for attorneys, banks, trust companies, museums, insurance companies & tax & court purposes. The gallery is always actively seeking quality antique consignments for 18th, 19th & early 20th century furnishings, paintings, rugs, silver, folk art & primitives, ephemera or any other objects of art, from single items to entire collections & estates. We offer some of the most competitive commission schedules in the business, ranging & starting as low as 0% for higher end objects & based on a sliding scale thereafter, as the value of the item goes up, the commission rates go down. Commission fees are always negotiable & are based on the sales value of the item(s) being consigned.
