Mills Violano Virtuoso in Oak

Lot 1226A Details

Description
If you are looking to invest in a Mills Violano, or if you already are fortunate enough to own one and are looking to upgrade your machine, then this one is for you. This is machine number 918 manufactured in 1917 by the Mills Novelty Co. of Chicago. It has been owned for the last 47 years by Mills restoration expert Terry Haughawout. This is his personal machine. The original finish quarter sawn oak case, often referred to as Tiger Oak, has the most unbelievable pattern you will ever find. The machine is all factory original with the exception of a MIDI which has been added. The MIDI currently holds 370 tunes which can be played and programed through an included Dell tablet. And beyond the immaculate original interior condition of this machine, it plays as good as it looks. Having sold many oak Violano's over the years we must say, They dont come much nicer than this one. Operates on 110V AC. Cabinet overall measures 64 tall, 43 wide, 31 deep.
