Fantastic Lionel prewar O gauge freight set no. 191W, circa 1938 in individual OBs and set box containing; 226E black 2-6-4 steam loco, 2226W tender, 2815 aluminum Sunoco tank, 2816 red hopper, 2817 red caboose, RCS remote control track set, 166 whistle controller, box with tube of lube, instruction sheets and booklet. The set has nickel trim and journals. The paint on the loco and tender has a nice original matte patina. The paint and trim on the freight cars is bright and shiny. The set has been test run, C9-10. The loco and tender boxes have original cardboard inserts and their are two cardboard coupler rings. The individual OBs are bright and clean and have all flaps attached, except for one interior flap on the 2817 box. The set box is a brick and sealed on the bottom. The label is very bright and clean and fully intact. This is a high quality matched original set and one of the best examples that we have ever seen.
