GERARD ECONOMOS Signed Oil Painting, signature to lower right reads ‘Gerard ECONOMOS’, label to reverse reads ‘Sindin Harris Galleries’, inscriptions to reverse partially illegible, read ‘Etu de provenance Sheres white’, subject a rural landscape, measures 25 1/8 x 28 1/2 inches, gilt wooden frame, surface wear and losses to frame, exposed canvas to reverse, not examined out of frame, Gérard Economos was born in Paris in 1935. Since 1978, Economos has resided in Guadalajara, Mexico, a city that has become his refuge from a very busy world traveling schedule.
