Description
The circa 1900 desk on legs with pierced brass gallery enclosing rouge marble above four bronze-mounted drawers having inlaid fronts over a rotating cylinder front embellished by inlaid gryphons and a bronze plaque with lovebirds, the cylinder rotating to reveal a divided interior with shelves over a pull-out writing surface and five drawers supported by tapering inlaid and banded legs terminating in bronze block feet.

Measures 51 x 50 x 24 inches.

Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.

Please be aware that this lot is too large to ship by conventional carrier such as UPS, USPS or FedEx and will instead require local pick-up, delivery by a freight carrier or delivery by a blanket-wrap shipper. The cost most likely will not be low.
