STOUTENBURGE & COX BRASS AND BRONZE SINUMBRA STAND LAMP, gilt lacquered finish, ring-form font with side-refill feature and double feeder tubes, Corinthian-style ribbed stem with curled acanthus leaves to each extension, slightly-stepped circular-form foot supported by a square-weighted base. Electrified. Fitted with a colorless Colonial Revival period cut and engraved shade having punty and floral pattern, neck with facet-cut ring, Albert-style prisms with cut stylized scallop to one corner, electrified burner. Second quarter 19th century. 31 3/4" H to top of shade, 5 3/4" SQ foot. Shade 10 3/4" H, 10 7/8" D fitter.
Expected wear to finish, base with a drilled hole for electrical cord. Shade undamaged, burner with associated alterations to electric socket, prisms mostly undamaged, several with expected minor flakes/roughness.
