Description
Debossed, "J & D Martin, Guelph". 18 x 11" (diam). Floral decoration suggests this jug was produced by J.M. (John Mills) Marlatt at the Paris Ont. pottery during his tenure (1859-1868). Very small chip (barely noticeable) is evident on the top of the handle. This jug is pictured on page 43 of "Jugs & Crocks of the Guelph Merchants" by Joyce Blyth.
