Description
A complete and clean postwar United Confederate Veteran's medal in silver with red and blue enamel, bearing images of the Army of Northern Virginia battleflag, the Virginia state seal, and the Jefferson Davis Memorial. The face reads “Brigade Commander” at top, and “Richmond VA 1907 – To Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederate States of America, 1861-1865” on the lower medallion. Each component bears the maker marks “Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark, NJ” on the back.
