Description
In this group are four attractive separate volumes, similar in size (8vo) and outward appearance with vellum jackets, dating to the second half of the 18th century. Includes "Sermones del Padre Carlos de la Rue, Predicador de Luis XVI" (Vol. 2), published by Pedro Marin, 1781. "Mana del Alma o Exercicio Facil" (Part 2), 1765." Promptuario de la Theologia Moral" by Francisco Larraga; Premier Edition, published by D. Manuel Martin, 1780. "Homilae Selectae Sanctorum Ecclesiae Patrum" (Part Two), Joannes Antonius Fernandez; published by Benedicti Cano, 1793. Each book individually shows similar characteristics commensurate with age. General wear to interior and exterior contents, both from age and use. Light foxing to pages, a few dog eared. Wormholes to some pages. Discoloration, wear and light staining to vellum jackets; two books with lossage to corners. Overall lot is good to very good.
