A CHINESE KANGXI STYLE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN BRUSH POT, BITONG, QING DYNASTY, 1663-1912, of thickly potted cylindrical form and a mouth rim band of incised blooms flanked by leafy stems, over sides painted with three gentlemen friends seated in the outdoors on a spread blanket beneath tall leafy bamboo stalks and drinking tea, while an attendant youth waits to serve them from behind a sacred boulder, reversing to a gentleman in long robes and holding a tea bowl with attendant youth in background and standing before a mountainous road leading upwards through stylized swirling clouds, raised dot details in painted areas, verso thin clear glaze.
