Pair of English 19th c. Earthenware Busts, depicting Rev. John Wesley and Rev. George Whitefield, back of Wesley bust is inscribed 'The Rev. John Wesley, M.A., died March 2, 1791, Aged 88', back of Whitefield bust marked 'The Rev. George Whitefield, died Sept. 30, 1770, Aged 56', unmarked bases, likely based on Enoch Wood's earlier models, 11 1/4" high, 7 3/4" x 5 1/2". Paint losses, one has a small firing crack on base.
