A PAIR OF CLOISONNÉ URNS WITH DOMED COVERS
Japan, Late Meiji Period
Each with a floral fretwork knob atop the green ground enameled cover decorated with clouds, flowers, walking sticks, gourds. The cover edged with a Greek key band with raised brass edges; the body featuring the same Greek key border above a flaring body decorated with the same motif as the cover; the mid-body having a brass band, the bulbous lower body adorned with flowers, fish, torches, and fans; raised on a flaring foot.
Minor dents to edges of vase. Overall very good condition. 13 x 8 ½ x 8 ½ inches (33 x 21.6 x 21.6 cm)
