Yamanaka Sterling Silver Bowl, Signed, Mounted with

Lot 0083 Details

Description
Yamanaka Sterling Silver Bowl, Signed, Mounted with White Jade Belt Hooks & Plaque, 5 1/4"x12
Condition
The bowl weighs 816 grams with the mounts and excluding the base. There is some compression to the pedestal leaving a visible circlet in the base of the bowl. This causes a subtle left leaning tilt to the bowl section. There are only superficial scratches and scuffs to the silver section. With the exception of the compressed pedestal there are no other glaring issues or deficiencies to which I can draw attention. Note that the belt hook heads are different. The name Yamanaka is not fully struck into the base. One can detect possible impressions under the paper Yamanaka designation. The jade sections appear to be in good condition to the naked eye and under 10X magnification. The hook mounts protrude through the sides of the bowl and are crimped in. They are well attached and presently stable.
