Oriental Bronze Sculpture “Tunisian Water Carrier” according to Jean Didier Debut's original work. A vital bronze sculpture with a polychrome patina depicting a proud Tunisian water carrier holding jugs of water in both hands. The sculpture was exhibited in 1889 at the Paris World's Fair, where he was nominated for the grand prize. Jean Didier Debut (1824-1893) was a French sculptor, a pupil of the famous sculptor David d’Angers. J. D. Debut became famous for his Oriental sculptures. * Dimensions: width W-21 cm, depth D-28 cm, height H-64 cm.* Country of origin: France* Period: 19th Century* Bronze, polychrome patina* Author's signature.
